Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Vehicle Exchange Manager will assist customers who visit the service department with information on the vehicle trade in sales process. The Vehicle Exchange Manager builds a portfolio of customers utilizing the customer management database to manage their customer's trade in experience and for future repeat business.

  • Meet and greet customers in the service drive while discussing and presenting possible trade in opportunities
  • Contact and communicate with customers to identify needs using the Asbury selling process
  • Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals and establish customer network
  • Greet customers in the dealerships and on the lot
  • Attend sales & product knowledge meetings
  • Work with customer from start to finish throughout the buying process
  • Answer inbound sales calls and respond to Internet inquiries in a timely manner
  • Conduct test drives, present vehicle product information, pricing and incentives
  • Achieve daily outbound phone and email quota
  • Must have motivation to be successful
  • Must be a team player and able to work in an open office environment
  • Must be able to create and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong computer & phone skills is required
  • Experience utilizing and maintaining a (CRM) customer relations management database is highly preferred
  • Prior automotive sales, retail, customer service, call center, or business development experience is a plus
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is always a plus
  • Must have a valid Driver's License 
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Must be a high school graduate or have GED
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
