David McDavid Nissan Houston, a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group (NYSE:ABG), a fortune 500 public automotive retailer with 80 retail locations and 103 franchises is currently seeking Service Advisors!

Questions you may have...

  1. How much money can I make? Realistically you can make $40,000 to $60,000 annually. We do have advisors that we consider Superstars within Asbury Automotive making a lot more than that!
  2. What is the environment like? When we asked the Service Manger to describe the Advisor's work environment he said, 'Our goal and main focus of this shop right now is to build a work family environment'.-Steve Pixley
  3. What does a Service Advisor do exactlly? The Service Advisor is one of our most important roles for service! They are the first to greet the customer and listen to their concerns and needs. The advisor provides details to the technicians that are critical in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in a timely manner. They are the go-between that keeps the customer updated along the way and educates them on services coming due or safety items that need to be corrected to safeguard families and lives.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Generating service order estimations and quotes for customers
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining an organized schedule
  • Conducting post-repair follow up
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Educate and sell vehicle warranties to customers when needed
  • Continue to maintain Asbury's value, quality and integrity
  • Ability to work hard with limited supervision
  • Service Advisor experience heavily preferred
  • Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
  • Must have great customer service skills, phone and computer 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
