Overview

We have an exciting opening for a Human Resources Assistant at Crown Automotive Company!

 As a subsidiary of Asbury Automotive Group (NYSE:ABG), we offer a Total Rewards Benefits Package to Full-Time employees that join our award-winning team.  The Human Resources Assistant will be based at the Crown Corporate Office in Greensboro and provide overall administrative support for the HR Department while maintaining Asbury standards of employee communication and documentation.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Work closely with the HR Manager and TA partner to provide support as needed
  • Communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process via phone and email
  • Review background and drug screenings, conduct follow ups when necessary
  • Organize and facilitate New Hire orientation classes
  • Process employee files and paperwork according to HR standards
  • Maintain high-level of confidentiality and ethics when handling HR matters and special projects
  • Some travel may be required
  • Income range $30,000 to $35,000 annually

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must have a high-interest in Human Resources
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain an organized schedule
  • Ability to work independently and follow a consistent process
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced office setting
  • Must have prior knowledge of recruitment process
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be committed to a culture of diversity and equality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Data Entry, and web applications (knowledge of ATS systems is a PLUS)
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
