Job Description

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The primary responsibility of the Express Lane Service Manager is to train, develop and oversee the Service Advisors and Quick Lube technicians in the Express Service Department.

  • Oversee the quick lube technicians and service advisors ensuring vehicles are serviced properly in a timely manner
  • Work with the Service Director and/or Parts Director as needed to ensure a timely turnaround
  • Attend manager meetings and conduct meetings with staff as needed
  • Motivate, train and develop employees
  • Communicate with customers about maintenance work needed
  • Continue to maintain Asbury’s value, quality, and integrity
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills are a must
  • Must be able to manage a team, motivate and develop team members
  • Experience as a technician or strong technical aptitude is a plus
  • Must have 3+ years of leadership experience in an Automotive Service Department
  • Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass pre-employments screens (background & drug test)
